SUAANC is preparing to bring vital healthcare to underserved communities through an upcoming medical mission to two barangays in Negros Oriental: Caidiocan in Valencia and Azagra in Tanjay. This humanitarian effort, conducted in partnership with the respective Municipal - and City - Health Offices, aims to deliver essential medical services to approximately 150 individuals in each location.

Alumni of Silliman University who are medical professionals or non-medical professionals who possess skills that can support the mission's logistics and operations are encouraged to participate. Your skills and compassion are vital to making this mission a success.

• Medical Volunteers - Licensed healthcare professionals are needed to provide direct patient care. This includes physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other medical specialists who can conduct consultations, perform basic procedures, dispense medications, and offer health education.

• Non-Medical Volunteers - The mission also requires a strong support team. Non-medical Sillimanians can contribute by managing patient registration, organizing supplies and logistics, coordinating transportation, providing translation services, and assisting with community outreach.

While medical professionals are essential, there are numerous roles available for non-medical alumni, including administrative support, logistics, and communication.

The mission is being conducted in collaboration with: 

1. the Municipal Health Office of Valencia, under the leadership of Dr. Cheryl Luz Navarro-Eullaran, and 
2. the City Health Office of Tanjay, under the leadership of Dr. Wilson Anthony Egos.

The goal is to provide comprehensive medical care to approximately 150 residents in each of the two barangays: Caidiocan and Azarga. Here the following features:

1. Basic Health Screening and Epidemiologic Survey
2. Pre-Natal Screening
3. Dental Screening and Intervention
4. Medication Distribution
5. Public Health Education
