SUAANC was founded in 1983 by alumni from Silliman University (a school based in Dumaguete City, Philippines) who shared the same dream of wanting to give back to their alma mater.

SUAANC was founded in 1983 by alumni from Silliman University (a school based in Dumaguete City, Philippines) who shared the same dream of wanting to give back to their alma mater.
Through the "Silliman spirit" and their dynamic Christian faith, this group of alumni and their friends regularly works to help Silliman University fulfill her vision, mission, and goals through projects and donations. The unspoken goal for this group is to ensure that Silliman continues to be a leading higher education institution in the Philippines and the world.
SUAANC's past accomplishments and contributions have put Silliman's motto of Via, Veritas, Vita (of Jesus Christ being The Way, The Truth, and The Life) into reality in this day and age. These real projects have impacted students through the years, since its founding, and is a testament to the alumni putting their education to work in service to others--a mark that distinguishes Silliman from other institutions of higher learning.
